And forget about the wannabe's
Can we pride ourselves In our nations diversity Loving thy neighbour And the whole community
Can we rise above The prejudice and hate Turn the other cheek To what ignorance dictates
Can we see beyond The senseless competition Stand united Ignore the politicians
Can we really forgive those That murder and steal Or is it an eye for an eye Happy to provide the last meal
Can we rise above Others naked ambition Help them on their way With light and wisdom
Can we reeducate those That discriminate every day Victimising and bullying Show them the way
If only we could See that we're not so small If we stood together We could rise above it all
