Feeling a little bit smug Feeling a little bit sweet Chrimbo all wrapped up Just finished the supermarket sweep.
So now I'm enjoying That full English I deserve As I watch all the manic shoppers Waiting to be served.
I got here at nine Thinking I was smart But the rest of this town Were already filling up they're cart.
What no pigs in blankies Your 'avin a giraffe! It's Christmas Tescos That's forward planning naff.
But I've got all the essentials All that we need Not all those extra consumables Put out to tempt our greed.
It's the staff I feel sorry for On these few days Despite the panic buying They still go out there way
So Im going to raise my morning tea To the retail staff throughout You make Christmas a little bit easier When some days we want to scream and shout.
