For #twistedopuss challenge
It was 6.15 in the morning. The sun was already streaming through the curtains. Her nose began to twitch from the pollen from the field. God, she hated summer mornings. It was too light, too itchy and days seemed to start just too early for her. But summer nights, those were the best. She began to day dream. She knew her alarm would go off soon, every day for the last 6 months. This new job was hard work. She did something similar to this about eight years ago but forgot how relentless a boss like hers could be. She just wanted to be able to hit the snooze button just once and turn over. Enjoy her bed, enjoy the silence, enjoy the feeling of the sheets in her bare skin, enjoy her dreams. But she knew she couldn't do that, turning over wasn't an option. It was a funny little alarm, with the same funny little sound that got louder if you didn't switch it off. It didn't have a snooze button. Next time it will, she thought. 6.19 she watched the number on the clock change 6.20 and without fail the alarm began to make its familiar noise. She pulled herself out of bed, away from her dreams and walked over to the alarm. "Good morning beautiful " and her little alarm smiled back at her.
