It only opens its doors on All Hallows Eve. All those who enter may not leave A gothic mansion set high upon the hill A house so dark, built only to chill
The imposing edifice looks down upon the dark, desolate, stormy moors Apart from the door you enter, the only way out is the sewers
Amber candlelight flickers through the cracked windows of lead Watching all those who venture through the low lying fog of death
A single chestnut tree stands eerily by the gates Silently surveying the hooded guests who stand in awe and wait
The high wrought iron fence, stabs the coming night A single face looks down upon them through the flickering amber light
They may step inside when the clock tower strikes ten ghostly bells The hidden souls of residents will come out from this hallowed shell
Who knows what the night will bring and what lies within One thing for certain is there's no way out of The Carpenters Inn
