The two little fairies were pleased, happy and delighted at themselves Swallowing the thesaurus means they would be better than the elves
But their wonderful, amazing stories would not be complete Without descriptive words the elves they'd never defeat
Hairy fairy said we'll never be that good So off they went to the Adjective Wood
With trees so tall, high, towering in a leafy canopy Sunlight, dazzling, and blinding their wide, amethyst eyes So many descriptive, vivid and expressive words They were overwhelmed by the pictorial beauty in front of them
But back to business, they were on a mission To capture as many adjectives for their latest edition
They gathered, amassed grouped as many words as they could Stuffed them in their bag, and ran from the wood
They were now truly armed to beat the elves the greatest writers of them all A swallowed thesaurus and a great, big , massive adjective haul.....
