Alfred and his brother Enre were well known in the social circles of Budapest. They were born into a simple farming family near the Drava River. Although they loved their father they wanted more from their lives than farming. It caused their mother great upset when they left. It was hard at first. Alfréd studied acting and Enre used his skills learnt on the farm as an engineer. With very little money, they were forced to live in an abandoned house in the Jewish quarter. They had no choice. They were dark days they would rather forget. It wasn't until after the war that Alfréd found his fame. Enre fed off his brothers noteriety. Both of them tall and handsome, with their chiseled germanic genes. They made hay while the sun shone, making the most of their youth, attending many arts and private social events, wining and dining Budapest's prettiest residents.
That all changed when Enre found Éva. They were inseparable, and Alfréd soon understood they would have to go their separate ways. Enre and Éva returned to the country, eventually resettling a few miles outside Cologne, with their daughter Gabriella.
Alfréd was now a skilled and renowned actor. Despite the offer of film scripts, his one and only love was the theatre. Unable to find true love in a woman, he experimented with men, but they were companions and only satisfied his curiosity. It was 4th December 1972 when Enre died. He was devastated. Despite offers of help, Éva brought Gabriella up single handedly, preferring to lead a sheltered but loving life. Gabriella inherited her mothers pretty green eyes and stunning head of flame red hair. She also had her innocent charm which so attracted Enre. But, she also inherited her grandmothers ability to mediate. Éva began to notice her eerie drawings at the age of five and later her imaginary conversations not with her dolls but with thin air. She was different though, she could channel.
