Anna took another long draw from her cigarette " No it was Forgach. He believes he may have the answers we need."
Maria contemplated " I see, but he is not from here, he is not one of us."
"He was born here, Mária, as you very well know. His parents fled before the occupation. They knew the Forgach family. "
A moment of horror passed over Mária's face. "Does he know what happened in the past?"
"No Mária, he is not aware. Why all these questions. Surely you of all should understand the importance of this? If you are not comfortable then.."
"No of course Anna, I'm being irrational. I only want to ensure our safety" she interrupted.
