It couldn't be thunder, there were no clouds in the sky
But it came from above and we didn't know why
As if by magic, this glowing spaceship appeared
Beamed us all up and we disappeared
When we opened our eyes we were in a room so green
With the funniest little creatures you have ever seen
We weren't crying or calling for our mummies
We could see ice cream and only thought of our tummies
But before we could eat they said we had to remove our shoes
They could ruin their flooring, as they melted like glue
So we took of our shoes and left them in a pile
We ate until we burst, it didn't take a while
The funny little creatures put our shoes in tube number eight
I wanted to keep my pretty red shoes, 'please wait!'
So the alien took pity as I was really upset
So handed me one of my shoes and took me to the vet
He gave me a little pink pill and a wee cuddle
Then we watched our shoes fall to Earth in a muddle.
I never saw planet Earth again
But we're having a ball with all our new friends.
