1. Family - goes without saying why, without their love I'd be lost
2. Good Friends-again, goes without saying, without them, without their support and laughter, life would be very dull.
3. My freedom-without it I wouldn't be writing this. Never underestimate this.
4. Films, films, films-been drawn into movies since I was yay high to a grasshopper. Have extensive, well, all of the Empire collection. Favourite film of all time? Mmmmm that's tricky-so many, but probably, Some Like it Hot or The Godfather Part 2.
5. Taking photographs-I've been taking photos since I was about 13 when my brother have me his old Leica. I prefer to shoot in black and white. And now I'm digital, I'm on to another terabyte hard drive to store them all. I love how a single click of the finger captures a memory, a fleeting glance, or moment in nature forever to enjoy time and time again.
6. Chocolate and sex - well what can I say... I'm a woman, I enjoy what our bodies can do.
7. Books- I hoard them. Never throw away after reading. I love being so immersed in a story that once it's finished I feel bereaved. My dream is one day to have a house that one room will be my library.
8. Reading aloud to my children and the kids at school. - I love sharing the story, whether its picture books or not. Transporting them with just your voice to another place.
9. Dogs- woof woof! Mans most faithful friends. I miss not owning dogs, but we regularly look after our friends when they go on holiday and I now help my neighbour with hers. They're just great in so many ways.
10. Music - I couldn't imagine life without it. I can place a feeling, or an event in life just with a piece of music. Some music transports me to a better place, if that makes sense. It's in my DNA as the lovely @sjw so eloquently says.
11. Catch up TV/sky+/box sets - without this I'd never see anything of my favourite shows- True Blood (Team Eric all the way) The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Downton, Spiral, The Killing.
12. Running- if I had to narrow down one of my sports it would be running. It costs nothing, you get plenty of fresh air, you see the seasons and nature change, you keep fit, keep the ticker ticking , free your mind and I raise money for doing something I enjoy.
13. History-what more can I say, fascinated by past times and people. Russian revolution, Tudors, Victorians, industrial revolution, WW1.....the list goes on. Being able to understand the past helps us understand the present and our future.
14. Smiling- yep love to smile. Who doesn't. I even have many lines to prove my happy existence. (Excluding grumpy days!)
15. Good food. I'm a general salad dodger.
16. A good bottle of ChΓ’teau Neuf, the smell, the taste, that warm fuzzy feeling along with good conversation
17. Boots!!!! Undies!!!! Sunglasses!!!! Jackets!!!! These are my shopping obsessions. Totally unnecessary but I can't help myself.
18. Drawing- yep I can draw. Your typical arty farty goth at school. I mainly do black and white pastel portraits now. Folk actually pay me as well.
19. Gardening- I like to potter with my wellies on. Self taught by trial and error. Have managed to transform a mass of grass when we bought our house to something rather special. My son loves to potter too, we built a veggie garden for him.
20. Travelling - discovering new places, going off the beaten track, seeing the world.
21. Duvet days- I don't get them often, but when I do, boy, do I make the most of it!!
22. Cars- self confessed Tom boy and petrol head. I really don't know how I'm going to cope with barbie! Love driving, done rallying, drove like I stole it, beat the blokes. Track days, torque, bhp, callipers, rims, .....would love to be a non star in a reasonably priced car.
23. Gadgets- time saving devices, my ithings.
I suppose that's all for now folks.
