There was once three girls, Who were the best of friends; They partied, talked, fell out, Then happily made amends.

Then one Hogmanay, One met the man of her dreams, The other copped off with his mate, The third was no where to be seen.

Number one ended up getting married, In a whirlwind romance; Moved to sunnier climes, By taking a ferry across to France.

The second saw the world, Working on a cruise ship for free; She travelled for many years, Then settled in Greece you see.

The third made her fortune, By moving to the capital city Worked every hour of the day, Unlucky in love, despite being pretty.

She sold up, Left London to travel east, Settled down under Got married by an orthodox priest.

She now has two children; That the other two haven't met. They've seen plenty of pictures, And their birthdays they never forget.

The first one travelled too, Ended up down south; She now has two bonnie children, One has a very cheeky mouth.

These three friends, Haven't been together for 10 years; The last time was in London, When they consumed far too many beers.

But this Christmas week, They will all meet again, Number two has flown from Athens, Three from Oz with the two bairns.

Number one, that's me, Will be driving up to Scotland too, I can't wait to see them all, Together again, an awesome motley crew.

So much to say, In so little time, If only the clocks would stop for that day, To catch up with these lifelong friends of mine.

* I'm so excited about us all being together and getting to meet my friends children. I've got a very long drive back to Scotland tomorrow with my baby daughter but its far cheaper than a flight to Oz!
