"What a night for a dance...you know I'm a dancing machine" she whispered in his ear, as the base line pumped through the warm Mediterranean air.

The secluded beach was still packed; the fire danced brightly under the clear, night sky. Her hands reached high, as if to touch the stars, lost in the euphoria of the moment.

"Come with me" he said. "Lay with me until the sun comes up".

She held his hand, and followed him, intoxicated on life; drunk on the notion of love at first sight.

Nobody noticed, nobody cared.

He took her to the same spot. The same beautiful, isolated spot.

She would never see the sun rise again.
