Mummy? Yes? Can I have an iPad? No Why not? Because we have one, you have an iPod and you don't need one But Aaron's got one That's nice for him, if you'd like to save up all your pocket money you can buy one too.
Mummy? Yes? Can I have a phone? No Why not? Because your only eight years old and you don't need one. You have a watch and a walkie talkie when you go out to play. But Sam's got one That's nice, even if you save up all your pocket money you still can't have one, it will fry your brain.
Mummy? Yes? Can I have a laptop? No Why not? Because you can use mine or daddy's MacBook. We don't need another. But Daniel has one That's nice, but Daniel is older and he has a lot of things and we don't.
Mummy? Yes? Can I have a new scooter? No Why not? Because you have a perfectly decent scooter that you saved up and spent £90 on. But Olly has two That's nice, if you want to save up all your pocket again, you can buy another stunt scooter. Assuming you don't want an iPad anymore
