Just a tick. Really quick. The countdown's longer than the clock hand flick. One year to another. Closer than a twin brother. A second makes the difference. In the mind there's a vast unwind, a deep long sigh filled with a years reflection. A fresh drawn breath to a New Years plunge, and it begins again....
