Feathers dull, common accessory Yet there's more to you than meets the eye To the naked eye I wonder why Tell me, do you lie?
A flash of fear angry coloured sparks Flutter beneath those wings so strong My imagination long Curiosity you prolong I ask, have I done wrong?
Only to be foolish to ever dream to see them The dazzling shades you hold of the rainbow You torment me so Knowing it'll be the same tomorrow How long have you known?
Treasure your secrets for I will not share I'll keep the power in your eyes so bright An amazing creature made just right Oh, her feathers are such a sight Under ultraviolet light
