I glance outside the window and saw the beautiful beach. The waves gently rolling into the shore. The soft sand. I looked at mom and dad, both of them making dinner. " Lily, can u please hand me the jug of milk fr the fridge. I opened the fridge and gave it to her. My family and I loved right by the beach. In the southern part of California, where the waves were beautiful,being able to surf and swim. But no. We moved here four months ago because of my moms job, marine biologist. My parents though, don't ever want me to surf because of the sharks and animals in the ocean. My mom would know. And they made an exception, only swimming up to our knee caps. When I finished dinner I turned on the tv, FSC! was on. Fantastic Surf Competition. I watched this one girl went inside the tube and did barrels. That could be me, I thought to myself. As my family went to bed, I went online and talked to Jess." Hey, are you still going to do it tonight." Jess asked. " Yes." "Did u leave it behind the bush?" Yea," Jess replied. " k bye." I quietly slipped on my bathing suit and opened my window and landed perfectly on the grass. I quietly ran to the bush. There it was. A surf board. Light blue and green streaks on it. I held it up and went into the water, feeling so good. The water always relaxed me, I have no reason why. It just feels like home. I swam out deeper, trying to find some waves. In the distance I saw three waves coming right at me, I got ready, like what Jess told me about, Jess, one of the best surfers I know. As I felt the wave I stood up. It was the most amazing feeling. I was so happy. After the wave ended I went looking for another. The moonlight was perfect for me to surf, and beautiful. I stood up as another came until I misjudged it, and I suddenly was thrown right off my board and into the water.
