Chaos. The surrounding world seemed to collapse and dissolve into swirling hurricane of destruction. The creamy plaster walls of the school building crashed and bricks flew like paper in the wind. Piercing screams rang out mercilessly. Through the blinding mass of smoke and dust, I could vaguely make out my classmates balled into trembling heaps beneath their desks. Sirens blared and dark figures armed with large guns crashed through the rubble shouting words that were unheard over the continuous explosions. Suddenly the smoke cleared and the figure of a certain boy could be seen standing tall amidst the chaos. Kyle Reese, sweat pouring down his face, clothes torn, chestnut locks clinging to his forehead, eyes flashing furiously. He stood breathless and met my distorted gaze through the smoke, steely ice eyes on mine, perfectly unphased as gun barrels stared him down. I knew he'd done it again. It was uncontrollable and dangerous.

Just then, a grave understanding pass between us. As armed forces closed in on him, he mouthed in my direction 'get out'. I hesitated only a moment to pray for his life as I bolted through the mass of destruction and didn't look back as flames burst into the daylight and consumed what had once been Creek Lane Highschool.
