Swirls of colour snapped up from a disc,
IBM can now play God with Pentium quick fingers.
Memory brings a blur in pixels
And nature no longer sells.
Imperfect, adjusting daily to evolve,
Priceless originals touched up to change
A shadow, or invert, a whole new colour range.
Scan it in and print it up,
Nominated for Turner Cup!
It's beauty can be its saving grace.
Look again and find in place of nature
A nurtured image brings awed sighs
And at last my friend, the camera lies.
