It was a dark and stormy night, were Jodie Moon lay in bed, dreaming of her family in war. Jodie was afraid that her farther would die. Jodie woke up with her mum on her bed next to her. "Mum, is daddy gonna die in war? I keep getting nightmares about him dead and I can't bare it!" Jodie asked fearfully. "He's Okay! He's not dead," Mum said quickly. "Now you know he's fine, will you be able to sleep?" Jodie nodded. How afraid she was. She knew it was world war II, and she could also die. "Oh mum, I wish dad was home."
3 days later, they were chucked out of home. Jodie was crying like mad about it. Mum cried too, and she took Jodie's hand and crept over to a stream, a calm stream. She was left there, as she couldn't take care of Jodie any longer. Poor Jodie was only 9 and a man in the war shot her. Her death was over the news as the person who shot her was her dads friend who loved her! The question is... Who is Jodie? Suddenly, Jodie woke up... And it was all a dream! But she was in a coma for the whole of the war!
