There was a 25 year old who thought she had everything she wanted, but she didn't, she needed somebody to love. She soon met a handsome young, healthy, rich man who loved her more than anything ever. So after dating each other for almost 5 years, the man forced her (Katie) to get married to him. The man was the mare of the city, and before she could say no, he rushed her to the local church and saw the vicar stood there with the rings on a scarlet cushion, he then said the wedding has been planned on for the very next day! And she said under her breath; 'Oh no...' then made a false smile, but looked real. 'Yes.' Katie smiled.
The story starts the next day in Katie's diary...
I didn't want to marry him, but I had no choice, that day I was going to say, 'I've been thinking about braking up,' but it was to late, he had proposed to me, and rushed me over to the church and told me everything. I couldn't turn him down, I had no choice but to say yes and go along with it. I was sat there, in the car, staring out the window, frowning.
'Is everything ok, Kate?' My dad asked placing his arm round my shoulder. I turned around and smiled. 'Yes dad, but he only proposed to me yesterday, I'm worried that maybe I'm not ready.' I mumbled.
Dad looked around, it was only the driver who was in my limo with me and dad. 'Between you and me, I think this is a bad idea, I wasn't going to say yes to Brent, but it was to late for me to say my opinion too. Don't say yes, Katie. This doesn't feel right at all...' He whispered. My heart started pounding, not in love, in threat. I was to scared to say it to dad though.
We arrived, my I almost tripped on my dress and ruined it, but cameras didn't catch it, and the crowd of people were to busy screaming with joy.
Brent was inside waiting for me and my dad, my brother ran up and gave me look, then ran to dad. Not this again! It really is getting old. 'Dad, Dad! Brent is arguing with the vicar!' He yelled. 'Is he now?' I said sarcastically. 'I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to dad!' My brother Jeff is only 12, always ruining things. I'm 25, and he's 12, he should know by now! But believe it or not, Brent and vicar Mac were arguing!
'Where are the rings? You can't have a wedding without RINGS! Now where are they? Get them, NOW!!!' Brent yelled. 'I am so sorry to burst your bubble sir, but we can have a wedding without rings, and intact they're right here!' Mac replied. Brent snatched them off him. 'YOU CALL THESE FEAKIN RINGS? WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT? THEY'RE THE OTHER ENGAGEMENT RINGS IN THE OTHER PILE OF ENGAGEMENT RINGS YOU OLD BAG!!!' Brent growled at the top of his voice. 'No need to shout, I ment these ones, sir. I do beg your pardon though,' Mac said calmly. 'Why yes, you better be sorry!' Brent murmured.
Everyone sat down, ready for the wedding. I stood outside with dad, and Jeff ran in pulling a face.
