It burned the skin as she tested the water with her hand. "Ah *hiss*" She let the sound escape her lips. Because she had been canoeing in the lake not minutes before, she was soaked to the bone and freezing.
She got in the shower with her clothes on to gradually warm up. The water was quickly reaching all parts of the fabric she was wearing. Eventually the only thing left dry was her gloves on the hanger outside the shower...
