To love another human is remarkable indeed,
Emotions can grow like a flower from a seed.
Open the flaws they endure deep inside,
They don't want to come out, they purposely hide.
Get to know the person and fall for them,
In their eyes you're like a precious gem.
Holding our hands, skin touching skin,
I tell you all my problems cleansing every sin.
Reality comes across as a boundless dream,
Your smile providing a radiant beam.
We live life in a bubble together at last,
In the present there's not a future or past.
Others observe with prying eyes,
Constantly judging, assuming lies.
Yet it doesn't matter what other people may think,
When I'm not with you my heart does sink.
Don't let my hand slip away from yours,
Despite my many imperfect flaws.
