(Hi:) so this is basically an extract of a short story I'm writing. To summarise it a bit, Rosie *the protagonist* saw some man murder a girl in a meadow when she was nine. The man told her he would find her, and so in this extract, he practically does! please tell me if you like it or not!)
Rosie was snapped out of her oblivion by a large, powerful hand tugging on the back of her shirt collar and dragging her to the ground. Fear erupted around her body. She was almost convinced her heart would pop out of her chest, it was beating at an undeniably worrying pace. Rosie opened her eyes and was greeted by a large man. His lips were a dark purple shade, stubble was clearly noticeable and his jaw was chiseled and defined. His smoky blue-grey eyes bored into Rosie's innocent forest green ones. Rosie felt powerless while he had already claimed the power. Questions began to flood Rosie's head, mostly consisting of; Will I die?, Will somebody see me?. Once again, oblivion took its place as Rosie tried to answer these unpredictable questions, until a sharp pain shot throughout her body. She swiftly rolled her eyes down as far as they could go, and that was the moment she saw it. His large, frail hand was grasped around the handle of the knife, that was now impaled into Rosie's tiny chest. Her breathing was convulsive and her vision blurred out as her eyes traveled around the secluded meadow. She looked down and she saw crimson liquid flow out of her onto the snowy, white ground. Her teeth were tightly locked and clenched, gasping for air. "This is it" she thought. The moon and stars were beaming and reflecting off on to her pale, milky skin. "I told you I would find you" the man whispered in a hoarse voice. Her breath became hitched and her heartbeat came to a close. The man laughed bitterly and moved sweet Rosie's body, and zipping her coat up so her almighty impalement remains undisclosed.
