We might be infinite. Sometimes we feel we are. But when all we read about is death and destruction and horror in our world, we know we will come to an end soon enough.

Someone once wrote, "Some infinities are bigger than other infinities." I wish I could believe him.

But I fear that in the end, it's all the same. And even if we believe that our infinity will last forever, we will end one day.

Our world is scary. Life is scary. It's unpredictable. But that's the fun part. That's the infinite part about it.

If life is a line, a metaphor that I've heard being used often, then there are infinite number of branches sprouting from it. And that, I think, is what makes life beautiful.

Our world may be full of destruction and death, but we never know what's going to happen. The options are infinite. And the unpredictables are infinite.

Not knowing is scary, but knowing is scarier. We may try to change the outcome if we know and if we do that, we shorten our infinites.

And screw that.

We have to not know. We have to let life run its course and show us our infinite.
