Part 2 She floated down through the wind letting the fierce grip ravage at her. Lily didn't open her eyes. Not a peep. They stayed closed as burnt embers. A searing screech whipped the air into a line and Lily prepared to have her neck broken and her life ended.

She opened her eyes.... On the back of a white dragon. The shock jolted her and she clutched her mouth and cried. She did not question the happening. Just clung with her life to the straggling bone white spine in front of her. The dragon was almost invisible in the moonlight, as it flew effortlessly through the sky. On first examination the dragon was a fine beast. Muscular legs rested under a glossy white coat of scales, large roughly cut topaz eyes glinted with ferocity. Ivory teeth curled elegantly over its lower lip and scraping claws which dangled precariously from the beasts body resembled vipers. There was thin pale skin tightly pulled over a bone frame to create elegant wings, silently beating every second. "I wish you could talk." Lily whispered, stroking a smooth plate of a scale with her index finger. "Then maybe you could tell me how to get out of this mess." Suddenly a burning sear ran down her middle and Lily screamed as a chilling bramble bush of thoughts entered her mind, drowning out her own with there grand presence. 'You are not as bright as I expected human.' a voice grated at her consciousness, the echo of a million scraping rocks. Lily was terrified she had heard the voice yes. But not with her ears - with her mind. She tentatively reached beyond her consciousness and felt another presence - not that of a human but a dragon. 'I am Pearlia, who are you.' this freakish mind stabbed at her consciousness with such brutality, that Lily had to withdraw back into her own comfort. 'I am Lily, daughter of Helena, where are you taking me?!' Lily trembled with the effort of transporting the message into the creatures mind and she flinched when a deafening roar silenced her speech. 'You are asking too many questions human.' Pearlia blocked her mind from Lily's and they flew on in a buzzing barrier of silence. Lily sat trembling the whole time, her body exhausted from the effort of crossing minds. Fear also drained her of energy. Where was she being taken? Why? Who was Pearlia? How can Pearlia talk? Who told me to jump? Why did I? A tremor of questions buzzed like frustrated bees beneath her skull and it was all Lily could do to stop herself from falling asleep...

'We're here.' echoed the hum of Pearlia's consciousness and Lily awoke to find herself in a cave. The walls were patterned with scenes of animals being hunted and there were tapestries hung in the walls, displaying couples love. In the middle of the vast cave was a throne and on that throne was a women....
