which is worse: to be unhappily married or unhappily single? I choose to be happily single.
I'd much rather be single and unhappy than married and unhappy. It's a lot easier to change the happiness level that way. an unhappily single can always find someone to make them happy. unhappily married have to go through a messy divorce.
If you're single, you have more freedom to choose to be happy or not than if you're married or in a very difficult relationship
If you're unhappily single, at least there's still hope and at least a single person can do whatever they pleases.
