You reach for your mace, unclasping it from its sheath and twirl it around at the soldier standing right in front of you.
You fall into the sky and feel the wind gushing between your fingers as you gnaw at the fabric of the world.
You find yourself amongst a pile of rubble, no doubt the remains of a scorching war. To the north, you can see the path leading through the trees to the clearing which brought you here.
You close you eyes, slowly, watching the curtains sheathe your stare into the forest. Tired and beaten body is taken by a relentless desire for slumber.
You make your way to the opening in the mountain and pause to examine the entrance. Along the edges of the opening you can make out sturdy golden beams, holding the entrance open.

You look at the mage, squirming under the weight of your foot pressing him against the cottage, feeling his own dismay crawl up your leg. You have had enough of wars for now.
As you approach the settlement, you are able to make out the outline of a cottage, the crest of the guild of wizards of the opposing kingdom etched with fire into a wooden plank into the beams of the...
As you vanish through the opening in the mountains, a bridge spreads underneath your feet.
As you close your eyes, you swallow down hard, your legs feeling splashed with water, jumping up onto your chest.
Your curl your toes in your boot, and push the mage against the wood for leverage as he screams in agony, you shatter his neck and send the mace into a downward plunge, expediting his death as you...
"Your path is chosen", the voice echoes through the sky making you look around confused. "Tell me, what path have you laid out before you?".
Your eyes spring open as his blade punctures through armor, the tip of the dagger touching your sweat covered skin.
You feel the cold air splash against your face as you emerge from the pool, shooting the water into the air and float back down, opening your eyes, unclenching your teeth, breathing out and relaxing...
How many times have you felt torn between deleting an application and still keeping it around because, who knows...

Although these times are difficult, I can say we are highly privileged since my husband works for one of the largest lawyer firms in our country.
