I'm not really a Mothering Sunday fan, and haven't been for a long time.
When I was four. My dad would wash his car. And take me outside to play. I'd play with chalk while he cleaned. While I played I heard a girl. She would play the guitar on her front porch.
We fight, we hate, we snap, you're late, We scream, we yell, we burst, we swell. We spit, we huff, we hurt, we bluff, But the anger we have is never enough.
I must have dropped into my brother's life like some unwelcome package, A swaddled stray, splitting air with wails. He was, Quiet, sensitive, And I was pedal on gas. I demanded attention.
My mother is dead. Pain pulses and pounds To the very finger tips of my being, Then curls back viciously, vacuously, Violating every sinew back to my heart.
I barley ever see my dad . Some people say that's really bad . But he's in work from dawn . Till dust . And he never sees me but I think he must . I went to his work one day .
A mother sings to daughter, Her baby girl asleep, The mother finally falls down, And in her hands does weep.
My mom had always said to me "It's you that's my best friend. When I need to laugh or cry, on you I can depend" My mom had always taught me to show love and show respect.
