It's a new day, A new hope , To make a new smile, To sing a new song, While the chains of love's bells keep ringing, And we keep singing, With the joy we are bringing, And the feeling, tingling.
I guess when things get cloudy We forget. We forget the sky's still there Past the murk If only we care to remember it. We forget the sun still shines Behind her dressing screen.
This is a poem I wrote in memory of relatives who were killed in a terrorist attack in India.
No one's place in this world is guaranteed. Not everyone is going to have a happy ending. But life isn't about how it ends. It's about the moments between. It's about the small things.
