Exhaustion eventually took its hold on her and she fell asleep. It was welcome.
I wake up as tired as ever. My eyes are crusty, and my head is throbbing. But I can't back out now. This is my chance to finally beat Linzy.
I dont know why she makes such a big deal out of this kind of stuff. I want to fight again, as soon as possible, whenever I can. Even if I have to run away. But there is no need for that yet.
Chapter 11 - No More Sacrifice -one week later- Tears ran silently down her cheeks as she sat gripping her knees to her chest.
"I here to talk to you about your fighting." says the Governer, surprisingly calm. "you need to go back in the arena." he says. Silence. When I look at my mom, she is shocked and out of words.
I can see my mom rising in anger at my comment. That probably wasn't the best idea saying that out loud. "not if I can help it." she says. Now I know she's mad.

She found her horse immediately. She was only five feet from it too before the prince’s hand closed around her wrist.
I was crying because everyone in that stupid ballroom saw me trip on my ridiculously long gown and fall onto the server who was holding a dozen glasses of red wine, which as you can obviously see,...
But alas the voices came once again, but they were yelling after her. She shot a concerned look at Connor but he was gone. He had hidden behind the statue in the center of the garden.
He was the only one who knew. The only one who could understand. He could relate. This was the boy she had grown up with.
She descended the stairs as quickly as she could without falling over her dress. Why had she chosen her heaviest dress to wear to that stupid ball.
“Why are you crying?” she asked softly, voice cracking. The boy considered the question for a second.
Stefan was climbing up the trunk of the tree, his body aching after each move. He could feel Lydia's blood drenching his clothes, he could her soft groans of discomfort.
The tragic where here know. She wish she could do something to stop the power from her hands to disappear.
I opened my eyes and found myself in the hospital. I had tubes around my nose helping me breath and burns all over my body from the fire. " How are you feeling?" the nurse asked. " Fine" I mumbled.
My lighter flared, a small suffocated spark in the cold night air.
It was near midnight that she started being sick. As she hadn't eaten anything there wasn't anything there, but the pain of the wretching was unbearable.
