Once everyone was in the beach house safely-excluding Halley-they all sat stunned at what just happened. Fred was in a state of shock and denial.
"What the-?" I stared at the ceiling, blinking into the harsh light blinding one side of my face, forcing me back onto the cold, dusty ground. Everywhere on my body ached.
"You guys were walking awfully fast." Gavin said nonchalantly, putting his arm around Lydia's shoulder. Lydia suddenly felt very uncomfortable.
Lydia had never been afraid of the dark. But the darkness now, was terrifying. Lydia couldn't see a foot in front of her. All she could hear was the shallow breathing of the others.
"Let's go." Tashie said, ignoring Lydia's sorrowful sobs and Stefan's arm wrapped around Lydia. Gavin stood up, wiping his pants off, trying to act normal.
"Are we the only ones here. There's only, like, eight of us." Lydia said uncertainly. Tashie snickered. "We're the last group to go out. We were waiting on you." she said, making Lydia feel guilty.
Lydia was falling down. It had become eerily silent inside the tornado. Lydia's body was numb. She knew she was falling, but she didn't know where. There was no where else she could go.
