I stand in the background I watch you go along with your lives As I stumble along with mine I see what others see But then I question it, why.
As I sit, I watch and learn, About myself and life in turn. I see so clear, What I thought I knew, That truth is not always true. As I sit, The world goes by, No thought of me, alone I cry.

My feelings are getting old, And they're going to die one day. But on to them I'll try to hold So you won't fade away. My fingers on them are slipping And I'm not sure if I can reach.
The mistakes I have made, And the second thoughts, I allowed to fade, The things I have done, The challenges I have faced, Even the ones I won, Acceptable errors. Or unforgivable disasters.
You'll often find us deep in thought, Lost in wonder, more often that not. Buried in a book, sitting by the side, Or talking to ourselves, we don't have much pride.
I'm a true, free spirit. Although it's rarely shown. I'm free inside, and that's what counts. My heart has truly flown. I have a quiet spirit. I have qualities that are rare to see.
I'm sorry for your pain. I'm sorry for my wrongs. I never meant to hurt you. Whilst singing a song. I'm sorry for your heart. I'm sorry for my words. I should've stayed quite. Never to be heard.
"Time waits for no man" they say. But what if I'm more, what if there was a way... That I could remain in these moments longer, Thoughts and ideas could become stronger.
Firm my attempt to resolve, Such mysteries I aim to solve, With the Earth such things evolve, As surely as it did revolve.
Opuss seems so...empty, My feed is just the same, It would be nice to see, A different style or a name.

I feel like a tall. unclimbable tree. In a forest surrounded. yet still very lonely. I feel like a grey. Withholding rain cloud. Waiting to burst. And release what I shroud. I feel like a pale.
I believe in the various forms of expression. I wait patiently each day to be confronted by something truly thought provoking, beautifully unique, intriguing or just....something else.
Give me your coppers And I will show you My book of flaws.
And I lay here. And I look upon the bay before me. I see all that my life has longed for before me. The reflection tells me how long it has waited for me. I stare deeper and see shiny orange.
To make a spark into a flame, Return life once again. The memories drift like ribbons of silk, They sooth your uneasiness as would pure white milk.
This time of year is the time I like the most. When the days start to get darker. When the mornings are frosty and dark. When the leaves fall. When the rain pours for days on end.
In the light of the sun, I have no worries. I am not scared, Nor am I anyone else. It's a funny feeling, One that I adore. It's like I'm free, For the first time in my existence.
I've rusted over, Ran out of time. I'll embrace the fact, I'm way last my prime. I've gone off, moved a different way. But truth be told, You can't stop that day.
There's a strange satisfaction with finishing a book. Line lives are over, although breaths they never took.
