Her sadness washes over her It sleeps, eats, lives close to her The tides of it, engulf her Never ceasing to let go of her.....................
Another day. Another dawn. Another feeling- Feeling torn. Another morn. Another dusk. Left feeling like- A lifeless husk. Another sun. Another moon. Another song- To gently croon. Another star.
At dawn, we went sailing on that crisp winter day. Calling and crowing on the salty crystal waves. You shrieked and whistled, your smile; pearly white.

That cold breezy wind. Reminds me of that moment. When we were at that field. Sitting next to each other. And you said those pitiful words. You look as if you wanted to cry.

This time of year is the time I like the most. When the days start to get darker. When the mornings are frosty and dark. When the leaves fall. When the rain pours for days on end.
Derelict and dishevelled, Crumbling and abandoned, Alone against the wind, rain and sun, Stands the old house. Ivy crawls deftly up the body of the house, Tightening it's grip, it's influence.
Rain, rain, leave me be. I've been through enough as you can see. You've left me so battered and bruised, why is it me who you abuse. I'm so sick of all the pain. Rain, rain, rain.

We remember, in order that we might forget. Reminiscence is a tricky one, that old time companion of loneliness, who sneaks up upon you as nostalgia fills the recesses of the heart again.
There is a veil of tears, A discomforting morbid shroud. It shadows the light within me, So I may not shine in the crowd. I wear a cloak of loneliness, It's fabric formed from pain.

It is said that after rain comes sunshine. Rain never pours down and thunder never make the heavens tremble. I am never reminded of that I am alive.
Rain pitter-patters down like the stepping of a child's feet. Translucent reflections of things that are now but a memory. A forgotten world where dreams meant something.

The light rain trickled across her cold cracked face, She knelt solemnly in the heavy morbid mist, Enslaved by her frosty love-lost embrace, As she mourned for a lover she dearly missed.

Why should, when there's sun 'n sea. I be lying here, under a colourless grey sheet. Staring up at flies on the ceiling. Unmoving, unseeing. While all around the ocean is seething.
