I saw the angels singing of death. The last of the brave, unleashing their wrath. It was all in the old scriptures, the lies we wouldn't believe. So many a warning, so hard to see.

I recently (yesterday) bought Plague Inc. off the App Store and began to WIPE OUT ALL OF HUMANITY!!. And to have some fun, I named my disease Happiness. It was hilarious.
From the skies, a rain of fire fell in a cascade of destruction. A monster dealing death from above, burning all it touched. With it, came a miasma of disease and rot. The world collapsed.
2112. The year where everything stops. People had been predicting it for years, but no one listened. No one paid attention. And no one survived.

It was the glimpse into a nightmare... Or was it a dream. Which reflected That which I already knew- Though could not believe true.

When the first bombs fell, I was nowhere to be seen. I had already come clean, two weeks before, on the end of a rope in the old general store.
What if.. A film was made where the world was going to end (nothing new right?) but everyone knew it.. So the president of America gathered 100 people.
Someone once asked me, What would you do, If the world was ending. And my first thought was of you. My heart started pounding and my mind ran away, To that desolate future where I find you one day.
Slippery. That was the feeling I couldn’t shake after having spoken to the salesman. I stood there feeling violated, a folder in hand as well as his card, not knowing what to do next.
As I stood there surveying the blasted landscape knowing in my soul this is the end, yet finding comfort in that fact, I waited.
Waiting for the world to end and I'm sitting in a bar. Plenty of people coming and going, seemingly oblivious to the pending doom.
Remember those prophecies. The ones which we laughed at. Joked about; 'Bring it on 2012!' .
Watching the chaos unfold from my window, I knew there was nothing I could do.
