I opened the door and it was dark. They must've turned off all the lights. The curtains were dark so I couldn't much even with the evening sun out.

I woke the next morning and was greeted with a room I didn't recognise immediately.

The flames were eating up the carpet and climbing up the walls. It had started in the corner behind us, now it was spreading. We quickly ran out of the room and to the back door, it was locked.
I ran out back and saw Adam and Ian throwing water balloons at Alyssa. Ian is Adam's best friend and a close guy friend of mine. I ran and grabbed the hose and started spraying the guys.
I had to chose which one would burn down next.
"Adam said nobody was even there" Alyssa replied. I sighed with relief. Adam is Alyssa's boyfriend, his dad is a firefighter. "by the way, Adam's walking with us today." she said.
