"Are you okay, Freya?" Aurora asked. "Don't you remember. Reswart broke the spell years ago" She looked concerned, worried. I shook my head.

"You don't want to see her" Mollie said as she shut the door behind her in Nate's room. "I do, we need to talk about so much" he said, standing up from the bed and jolting the baby in the process.
It was a long hot summer that year. The heat hung heavy in the air, relentless. We spent most days swimming at the river. We spent so much time there, I'm amazed we didn't grow gills.
