I've got a primrose in my pocket,. And a head full of dreams,. Yet my heart is full of sorrow,. And it's bursting at the seams,. There's a crystal rose pinned to my chest,. Right above my heart,.
Why should, when there's sun 'n sea. I be lying here, under a colourless grey sheet. Staring up at flies on the ceiling. Unmoving, unseeing. While all around the ocean is seething.
This is the first poem I remember writing and it is also one of my favourite out of the ones I've written so I want to share it with you all :). Summer kisses. And winter misses.
My brain is divided into three compartments. The most secure area stores the memory of your face. Above all things, I keep that safe. A room with a sliding door Holds all the cute things you say.
The rain beat down relentless. Drumming hard upon my head. Splashing up From cobbles dark and dank and dead. It makes me feel so lonely. The people rushing by. Heads down and not responsive.
The rain was patting against the car. My leg was resting against the door. The rain was soothing and was whispering hello. The only thing in my head was no. Feeling like an idiot.
Apples on a tree, Can't you see, What this friendship means to me. Pears in a pie, My oh my, This bad weather makes me sigh. Lemons and limes, Such hard times, Everyone toeing the line.

The calm, blue sea washed over the beach, Further and further along it did reach, It beautifully sparkled in the sunlight, It really was a lovely sight. When the sea is calm.

The air is thick with guilt,fear & pain. I can't breathe that kind of oxygen. The water is murky and green, But my 5 senses are keen. I can see how evil looking the birds are.
