"What?" Gabby asks, breathless. She charges to Maicy and I and tackles us. The slip of paper drifts out of my hand as I hit the floor. Maicy lands hard next to me, moaning in pain.
She was a stranger. No one knew her name. She crept through the hollow darkness like a black cat on a holloween night. Her black, sweat drenched coat clung to her body like a ghost wavering over her.
