I went back to my locker, then to social studies. Because of the confusion of the test, I forgot to pinch myself once and a while and my eyes started to droop. Without noticing, they finally closed.

The sun was high up, shining brightly across the blue unsettling ground. The sunlight would occasionally give the pretence of sapphires and diamonds as it flowed across the ocean.
I woke up the next morning and quickly got ready so it wouldn’t be such a close call to if I missed my bus or not.
Just then, the bell rang so we could all go to next class. I was the first to run out of the locker rooms and didn’t talk to anyone, not even Emmie, on the way out.
The next day, I woke up to find that it was only 6:10 and I had to go to school. I really did hate Mondays. “Ugh, can’t I just stay home all day?” I said to no one in particular.
