Airport Watching.
Sitting in the airport,
I watch as life goes by,
Over there a woman moans,
And a baby may just cry.
Farewell
Your bags are packed and goodbyes have been said. The smile you show is hollow of feeling. Where excitement once was is now filled with dread. The day has come to start a new life with no clue.
Miss
Won't miss the English weather. The wind and rain and such. I'm up for fun in the stateside sun. Can't wait to feel its touch. Won't miss the daily grind. No I won't miss the job.
When You're Dreaming
I hear you when you're silent. I see your eyes when they're closed. I feel you when your miles away. I'll miss kissing that nose. You don't listen when I'm speaking. You don't see me when I stare.
