Part 1: It was just yesterday. I was playing with my dolls, just like a normal little girl did. All of a sudden I heard a piercing scream, coming from a familiar voice. My mother.
The cold cuts to bone, warmth flees from the day, the winter months close in, skies of gray. Into this house I flee, my escape from the cold, the warmth of the fire, more valued than gold.

It twirls and curls, Up in the sky. Leaving the fire, Not saying goodbye. This silent assassin, Never asks why. Beautiful yet deadly, Stinging your eye.
A quick dance under a burning tree, On the blackened glass we leap. One foot leaves the ground, The next one hits, and round. Tango our way, as we move, Hearts beating as one, in tune.
The fire was glowing bright yellow the flames licking at the corrugated roof. " I cant let this happen. " I shouted over the roaring flame " I just cant.
I'm walking across a serene beach. I look up to the sky above. I see a star fall out of the sky, trailing a whit hot cut across the patchwork of the deep purple night.
I was stuck. The metal mesh above the fireplace was stopping my miraculous escape for the now burning house that used to be my own. I panicked. Smoke was filling up my lungs.
