Rules of the semicolon Copied from Grammarbook.com Rule 1: Use a semicolon in place of a period to separate two sentences where the conjunction has been left out.
Now I know I've not posted for a while but now I've decided to teach level 4 English as a booster and possibly level 5 or 6 maths (because I'm better at maths) so here we go. Active to passive.
Three little owls sat together in a tree, They looked between one, the other and thee. To, too and two they all said, Through the night while turning their heads.
Next door to three brothers, Live two beautiful little girls. They like to dance and play outside, Do cartwheels, spins and twirls. Their names are Your and You're, Their names both sound the same.
Here are three brothers, And all are strapping boys. Each are given a strong purpose, And this poem will show their joys. Some people call them homophones, Now isn't that a silly name.
