I could feel the cool 3am air on my face as we stood by the freshly shattered window. Peering through, I could see our escape route snaking in zigzags down the outside of the motel. The fire escape.
CHAPTER 2 "Alright," Said Tpek, "We'll discuss this in my room. No need to risk anyone hearing us." As he led me upstairs, into a light, airy but slightly shabby room.
- The Lessens Erik's hand was on my shoulder. Still curled up on my seat the light filled my eyes. I threw my head onto the seat and groaned. "Shit... I fell asleep didn't I!" He smiled and giggled.
Chapter Two The sun was rising as the ship named the Shee'naka approached the deserted port of Mercant.
Nothing happened. "What?" The lady pulled the trigger again. Still nothing. I almost laugh when I realized what happened. The gun was empty; it had no bullets.
Elle pulled her hair up into a messy ponytail, and peered in the mirror. Her lips were still faintly coloured by the lipstick she'd removed a minute ago.
They were coming. They had to be. The city once so free now suddenly felt like a cage. Every turn leading to a dead end, every square a trap.

Ok, so last night I had such a weird dream and I'm going to try and make it into a short story...here goes nothing. It was early Monday morning when the headmistress asked for me in her office.
The next morning I woke up well slept and refreshed to find a turtledove sat next to my pack with a letter attached to it's left leg I walked towards it slowly and picked it up gently as not hurt it...
Just at that moment a guard came over. "The leader ordered you to be taken to a dungeon." He said. Well, I was quite shocked in the least.
I pulled off my hood carefully watching the new guy. His eyes widened only a fraction before setting themselves in stone - keeping detached.
'Stacy, Stacy!' He awoke naked in a cold sweat, heart pounding fast, screaming for his sweetheart.
"Let's go." Tashie said, ignoring Lydia's sorrowful sobs and Stefan's arm wrapped around Lydia. Gavin stood up, wiping his pants off, trying to act normal.
"Are we the only ones here. There's only, like, eight of us." Lydia said uncertainly. Tashie snickered. "We're the last group to go out. We were waiting on you." she said, making Lydia feel guilty.
As the young girls terror reduces her to tears there is a loud knock at the door. She looks towards the door and slowly approaches it.
Cole ran a hand through his hair, uncannily copying Drake's own action.
