Well that was an eventful day!. Bit of a shock to the system but everything seems to be ok. Too many faces staring today, got a bit paranoid but nurses put an end to that and everyone had to leave.

Well that was an eventful day!. Bit of a shock to the system but everything seems to be ok. Too many faces staring today, got a bit paranoid but nurses put an end to that and everyone had to leave.
Beautiful blue eyed baby boy Bay. Came into our lives a year to the day. Born into fear, having to fight from the start. Through all the pain, giving us heart.
Week one was a shock. But it didn't last long. The first months the easiest. But ofcourse it's still hard. As days go by. And weeks pass. Months seem longer. Now at last. Nine months along.
The doctor led me through a beech coloured double door, and in there the first thing I noticed was the artificial strip lights, man this room was bright.
So the hardest bit. Saturday night 11pm I go into labour, I stop my blood clot injections straight away. No more till I've had the baby now, I can haemorrhage if I continue with them.
Bright blue eyes, Staring back. Soft, messy hair, That's jet black. Tiny feet, Miniature hands. Behind me smiling, Her father stands. Silently she sleeps, The bundle in my arms.
A boy is born, a mother smiles She holds his hand, it's all worth while That moment, that instant gratification A bundle of joy, it's complete satisfaction Tiny fingers and toes, Bright red puffy...

** last night, two of my friends became proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. I wrote this for her ** Your first 12 hours in the world, You already command it.
I'll never forget when time stood still, I watched your little head crown and felt the tension in that sterile room.
Her name is Poppie Rose she has ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes. Unconditional love from the start she owns and has captured my heart.
