"Through here detective" said the officer, as i was lead in to a small room in a seedy hotel by the river.
So there I was, standing in the front of the ally. I could only see the red spot of "fox" cigarette. I walked into the ally. It was to dark to see, so I opened my lighter.
Out the office I wondered wearily till I hit the big, towering sculpture of the late mayor redburn. The mayor had been another victim of the shadows cunning charm, luring his wife into killing him.
Before my stomach conveniently decided to be sick on the rear bumper of the car, all I really had time to glimpse was her face. It looked as neutral and silent as it had a few hours earlier.
