Hey guys, I've finished looking through all the lovely pieces I got. I appreciate the time you put into your pieces as well as all the reposts for the challenge.
I said it already but OMG -I can't believe 'My Gran's Place' was seen suitable to win today's acrostic challenge. I am totally humbled and lost for words.
Two poets stood opposite. Each other with two pieces. Of paper, two pens, and ink. Enough for 25 words, waiting. To to begin a battle between. Two poets, where only one can win.
Anyway, here it is (finally). Sorry for the wait, it took a while to decide.

Lets keep things interesting... I'm thinking about a #phrase competition. The aim of the game is to write a poem containing a classic phrase, chosen by the previous winner.
Alright- I know this is early but I just CAN't WAIT!. Let me start by saying that all the entries were purely wonderful.... I loved every single one and this was so difficult for me to chose!!!.
So I have read all of the entries for youngwritershousehold and they are amazing. I honestly have never seen writing as good as this anywhere but opuss.
