Relax. Calm down. Calm. . . Down. Glance around me. Scan the room. ' Look at this place.' Chaos. Unwashed plates iced with congealed fat. Empty beer cans doubling as ash trays.
Cats. Nyx felt a bit jipped. The sprite had said cats. These were monsters. Each was four feet long and a grey-brown, with golden eyes. They hissed and snarled, and then sprang.
Lightning flashes thunder clashes itching rashes my brain crashes my life flashes in front of me; Im no longer free; Excuse me while a craft my crime; what I mean is draft my rhyme; a rift in time...
And then the realisation of what had just happened hit him. Like a falling building his mind began to crumble. His feelings began to pour out like water from a broken fish bowl.
The world is shifting beneath my feet, breaking and falling apart. Everywhere I gaze there's an eerie crack splitting the sidewalk in half.
Spinning around up in space, my mind is going blank. They can tell by my face, I'm the girl they sank. The sky was blue but now it's black, I know that I'm going insane.
Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. It annoys me so. This stupid clock It just has to go. Ticks. Tocks. Ticks. Tocks. In the trash it goes. Yet it still mocks Both of our own woes. Tiiick. Tooock. Tiiick. Tooock.
My shakey pale hands reach up to graze my top lip. Cracked skin and pale pink I'm losing color. Dark circles make a home in the bed of my eyes.
I could hardly feel the cigarette end between my fingers. Only a slight warmth from the faint shimmering glow as the smoke stroked my fingers before fading into the sterilized white light.
Im so crazy; legally insane. Told me I gotta problem with my brain. Im so numb but I feel the pain. Like getting shoved under a racing train. Im a painter; selling a giant painting.

So sick of looking in the mirror and hating what I see. I lash out. Clenching my fist tight smashing myself in the face, mirror shatters. Blood drips.
He said it happened. No one could believe it. But he saw it. The girl who they said was Unbreakable: Broke today. They said she'd never fall; Never break. But today, She did. Her world fell apart.
The next morning, I woke up to a constant ringing sound. Rubbing my eyes, I nervously traipsed to the window and opened it, spying on the outside world.

He rolled one up, then kicked back in the sunshine. The night before had certainly been a "fun time". "Nice one Sarge", the first voice said.
It was one of those days. First the carpool delay, then the broken down bus, and the total lack of connecting trains.
A splatter of fire ripped through the torn curtains. The windows had long been smashed and shattered by the rumble of shells and the splattering of shrapnel.
My legs felt weak at the knees. It was probably lucky I was sitting down, or I would’ve fallen to the floor. Anger erupted inside me. It bubbled and fizzed, boiled and simmered.
*Piss* It stunk but I was drunk and I needed to piss. The toilet door banged shut behind me and the roar of the White Lion was muzzled.
