This is a more personal poem that I wrote about an incident I had with a sibling a few years ago. Also, I was trying something a little different with repetition and I'm not really sure if it worked.
Left my sister behind. Had a cry on the bus. She's so small and dainty and she's got an old woman's head on her shoulders and she's so powerful and wonderful.
She's rude and unkind, Always changing her mind, We're expected to follow behind. She sits in her bed, With music in her head. Doesn't care what anyone has said.
