Nightmares plague me, They haunt my sleep. I lay awake to avoid them. Throughout the house I creep. I've started to look tired, I swear it's not my fault. My teachers complain I forget stuff.
~ It's 4am and I'm still avoiding sleep, so I wrote this poem.
Ok, so I am skipping ahead a little as I am struggling with the parent conversation bit. It needs work. Let me know what you think about this part though, please.
I feel it's darkness grip, Down on my chest it crushes. Not a breath can pass my lips , Across my face a coldness rushes.
