I don't write stories, don't be too harsh. Pant. Pant. Pant. He was catching up. Shadows were shrouding my view, and I could only see a few metres ahead. But I could t stop.
Prologue I ran as fast as I could. Jumping over fallen branches and ducking between trees. I could hear him coming closer. My lungs burned and my throat felt torn up from my ragged breathing.
My teeth click against each other. I wring my hands, tugging hard at the pale flesh. I see things nestling among the branches of trees. Raven black eyes with white pupils peer out at me.
I opened my eyes after what felt like an eternity. Those piercing yellow eyes had gone, vanished. I closed my eyes and opened them again quickly, just in case I was imagining things. I wasn't.
I sprinted all the way to the end of the bridge and turned my head. It was a quiet, cold night and piercing breezes were dancing around my body.
I walked around the flat and didn't find the cursed girl. All I wanted was to kill her. I was going crazy. My mind wasn't listening to me. I was crazy.
You know what the worst feeling in the world is. It's that feeling when you know that no matter how hard you try, you can't succeed. Your heart just sinks. Well this was one of those times.
