Followed on from @naaviie Every time I blink it seems like eternity. Stuck inside the shadows of my eyelids. Swirling shapes and noises. And yet when I open them...nothing.
I awoke with a start, page stuck to my face. Heavy eyes threatening to close the world from me, with an effort I stood; shovelling books into my arms half-heartedly.
...A sudden jolt brought me back to my senses. I turned to look, the spider was only three feet away now, its pointed fangs clacking together as they had when it first found me.
The spider could see me now, I knew it could. I could feel its eight beady black eyes fixed on me. I daren't move through fear of bringing it closer.
There was a shark. In a pool. And the only way out of the room was by pool. She turned to go back but there was a metal door there. Terrified she looked for a way out. But she couldn't find any.
As I lay down on the floor I wondered how did the frown on my face come before. It is terrifying here A place of misery I could no longer bear Why can't I just leave.
Lilly screamed, for in that instant she though she was blind being brought back to reality in complete darkness. But it all came back to her like a powerful wave destroying a beach.
